Members of this Task Force are made up of non-profits, faith based, government, for-profit organizations and entrepreneurs.This allows us to have a broad base of partnerships to assist in creating innovative initiatives for the Broward County community. The Task Force funds its programs through a combination of group or individual contributions, membership fees and grant writing. Non-financial support is sought from all levels of the Broward County community.

The Task Force’s purpose is to promote and support programs which foster The development, financing, and marketing of affordable housing. Task Forces Is a life-changing organization that transcends the definition of a non-profit or Community-based program;
it helps people – who wouldn’t have otherwise Been able – to purchase a home or get a mortgage; providing families with a
Foundation and sense of security in their lives. Task Force’s is a charter member of the Neighbor Works® Network, a certified
Homeownership Center, a HUD approved counseling agency, and has adopted
The National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling. We are dedicated to continual development of healthy residents and Neighborhoods and are committed to the following outcomes:
• Residents who are educated homebuyers and homeowners
• Residents who have adequate financial opportunities for buying and Maintaining their homes
• Housing that is safe, decent and financially sustainable
• Revitalized neighborhoods where residents choose to invest their time.
